So i did the math on ordering kyb agxs from the states and with the dollar low, taxes, brokerage fees, etc. its come out to like a million bucks:madfawk:. My options look to be finding kyb retailer somewhere in canada or walk down to APC and get me some of their stockers. What my questions are:(1) can a get agxs or gr2s in canada from somewhere?(2)would stock shocks from the local parts store handle a mild drop from tein springs or eibachs?

1. maybe forcepower can get you the agx's I think the blackbird ran them or still does. I may be wrong on this.

2. Stock shocks will probably hold out in the beginning but will fail over time. For what you'd pay for stockers, put the money toward something aftermarket, at least you'll know it will hold out over time.

Below is a quote from a small rant I had recently.
Am I missing something guy's, why do allot of people not associate us with selling parts as well as building cars.:Thinkingof_:

Parts.
There is not a part for these cars (if still available) that we cannot get. We have accounts with all the major suppliers and we deal direct with allot of the aftermarket manufacturers or at least the ones worth dealing with. Again, as most of you know we do emphasize and recommend the proven parts and suppliers, sometimes this means higher prices, sometimes not. You get what you pay for in this world, if the price of a product is your only governing factor, beware you will loose in the long run.
"Internet parts slingers", you know the ones lurking on every forum they can, selling the cheapest products they can find with no visible (bricks and mortar) business or overheads to maintain. These people devalue the whole industry, not just in the cheap crap they sell, but with there lack of product knowledge and product application. When it comes to upgrading or modifying a car, there is no fixed list of parts. Every application will differ depending on the customers plans or desires. Again, this is where professionals come in, developing and recommending the right parts at the right time for the right application and then standing behind it with service, warranty and maintenance

Just an FYI on this. I just replaced my front struts. I got them from napa, they are kyb GR2. I think it what comes stock on our cars:hmmm:. If you are looking for something better then stock. Go see Mark or Pat and they can hook you up,( with the right parts the first time).

:dito: Can someone fill us in here. I thought that it might be a "no-brainer" that if we build the cars, we are able to get the parts to build the cars. :dunno::hmmmm2::banghead:

Cameron........you've been to our shop before I believe right? That makes the question from you of "can I get KYB shocks in Canada"....just alittle harder to figure out.
