Wheel bearing

My car needs a left front wheel bearing for safety and I got a question on how to change it. Do you have to take the whole hub assembly out to replace the bearing or can you just take the wheel off, take the axle out and then pull the bearing out like that?

On my 2G the bearing/hub were one piece and only like 70-80 bucks... It took maybe an hour to do.
No clue if 1gs are the same though..

Not sure how they dealer will sell it, just the bearing or whole hub. but I did just the bearings on my car. Bought the bearings from a shop. You'll need to pull the whole hub and press the bearing out. Let me know.
