I've been meaning to make this post for a while now, so here goes.
Up until now we have always run the ForcePower Stage 2 motor in our car. This has been important to us to demonstrate to all our customers how durable and powerful it could be. Plus find it's limits for street and race. We did not do anything different to ours than what we have done for a good portion of you that our running our motors.
With this said though, I do think we are running it to it's limit while still maintaining a great level of reliability. Anyone can do one or two fast runs or make impressive hp on a dyno, but can they do it over and over again at the track and on the street, not many.
This winter we are going to build a Stage 3 "plus" for our race car. We haven't decided on all the components yet but we do have a very short list. Below are the limits or goals (which ever way you look at it) that we want to achieve.
WHP = 1000 plus.
RPM = 11000 max.
ET = single digits.
Maintain a level of street use.
No Nitrous, yet (but built for it).
Two seasons of use, with basic refresh.
I know it won't be easy and we may leave some parts here and there, but we will keep at it until we can say the same about it as we can the stage 2.
