Congrats Nate, you now hold the Canadian record for a street legal 16G DSM.

I know I've said it before, but your car still has more left. When your ready we will bring that time down some more and note guy's Nate still does not use NLTS.

I looked at a couple of your runs on video last night, those front shocks are f**ked. I'm amazed you can keep the car straight in the first 60'.

We didn't quite get what we wanted out of Blackbird, it was running great and we had it dialed in where we wanted it. Then with no warning the throttle linkage snapped off the shaft. Pat, I know I told you to keep it matted, but you didn't have to push it thru the floor. Oh well it's an easy fix, we will try again next time out.
By the way Pat, what's it like crossing the line at Sparta on the plus side of 140 mph.

Way to go Nate. Nobody is going to catch you and you set this record with ease. Take a week or 2 off from racing. hahaha. Your machine has seen alot of abuse in the last 3 weeks. Just sit on top of the pile and soak it all in. haha.
You deserve this and you've worked hard for it.

Where is Nate by the way? Still partying I guess. hahaha.
He's probably working on the video so everyone can see him take the record and some can watch it and cry. hahahahahaha.


As for the BlackBird.........
We had a good day. Couldn't get the car to hook worth a shit out of the hole all day but what can you do. I was consistantly quick until I snapped my throttle linkage right off my throttle body. hahaha.
I went 10.7 @ 137 then put down 2 back to back 10.6's, both at 140mph. Not bad. We'll be back out soon.

I dont think i have let it sink in yet... "number one 16g in canada" i just cant believe the car belongs to me LOL

The day did not start off all that well. First run the car was missing on 2 and 3 cylinder. But once Mark discovered that there was a loose coil plug a zip tie from Ryan fixed it up great.

Man, a 1.65 60' is not out of the question for your car at all. That could put your time in the 11.5s.
Better 60s weren't happening yesterday though at Sparta. hahaha. Your car was squeelin, you can hear it on the video.
